Congratulations to our M.A.-Graduates in Tourism-, Hospitality- and Eventmanagement! Last week, 11 ANGELL-Business-School students received their academic title "Master of Arts" during an official graduation ceremony on the campus of our partner institution "University of Brighton".
The cooperation with the University of Brighton exists since the introduction of postgraduate programmes at the ANGELL Business School in 2006. The Master of Arts can be reached in either one year (full-time) or two years (part-time).
We wish our graduates all the best for their private, professional and academic future!
During the last week MLP-Consulant Gregor Jäger and the expert for business-habits Betül Hanisch informed our undergraduate students about the current standards concerning job applications and business environment and gave them many useful impressions from their own business life. The workshop included for example the topics business meal, rhetoric and body language.
Excitement, anticipation, pride. These are probably the best words to describe our Bachelor-Graduates’ feelings from Friday, 27th of July, when they received their Bachelor-Certificates.
After the official graduation ceremony in the ANGELL Bioteria, where Dr. Florian Hummel handed the transcripts and certificates to the graduates, they went on the ANGELL-Roof-Deck, wrote wishes for their futures on small cards, fixed them on balloons and let them fly on a journey over Freiburg and the Blackforest.
Sarah Wintermantel, Linda Schittenhelm, Theresa Beckenbauer and Christina Lindgen, all of them participants in ANGELL Business School’s Bacherlor programme went to Freiburg’s children’s clinic to hand the Clinic-Clowns Freiburg a cheque in the amount of 1030 Euro. Katrin Raith, also part of the team, could unfortunately not participate in the event. The students collected the money by doing several charity activities like the “X-Mas Poetry Slam” or serving guests at the “Forum Tourismus” (Speaker: Otto Lindner, Lindner Hotels). After having received the cheque the Clinic-Clowns “Macke” (Olaf Creutzberg) and “Schraube” (Dirk Maibauer-Scharpf) talked with our Bachelor students about their work with children in the hospital.
